A Towson student participates in a service for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, on Sunday, Sept. 20 in the Loch Raven Room of the University Union. Rosh Hashanah began Friday night at sundown and ended Sunday night at sundown. Hillel hosted services Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. This celebration marks the first of the Jewish High Holidays, days set aside to focus on repentance.
