A Pepsi truck collided with a vehicle and forced it off of York Road just outside of the Administration Building, bringing traffic traveling North to a hault for a temporary time Thursday afternoon.

Baltimore County police officer Shawn Vinson said Towson University police initially received a call around 3 p.m. and soon after assisted with traffic control around the accident.

“It was reported with injuries but I don’t know the extent or if anyone was trasported to the hospital,” Vinson said.

He said the vehicle pushed off the road was a blue car but does not have information regarding the make and model. The reason for the crash is still being investigated.

A short time later, a two-car accident just south on York Road occurred at the York and Murdock intersection. This accident was reported around 4 p.m., about an hour after the first crash.

Vinson said the accident is still being investigated but there were no apparent injuries. There were only damages to the two vehicles involved, one a blue Honda Accord and the other a gray Nissan. An ambulance was refused by both drivers involved.
