I AGREE WITH THE WRITER AND ITS BECAUSE Lebron james have been in the game since 2003 and if he wasnt for his body, no one would have noticed him. Lebron's shooting average was never good until this season and its partly because of D-wade and Bosh while Durant has been in the game since 2008 and he has already had 3 scoring title, 1 superstar MVP and so forth. last summer Durant trashed Lebron on a face-off so figure it Guys before y'all talked ur brains out.

Alex, If you aren't willing to give any credit to LeBron because he doesn't have a championship, why should you give any credit to Durant? He doesn't have any rings either! You say its not a team award, its individual, and then you bash LeBron for being on a team with two other superstars? Durant plays with Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka, yet you knock LeBron for having good players with him. The fact that OKC swept the Thunder is completely irrelevant, because its a regular season award and the votes were cast before the Playoffs even began. A little bit biased, you are obviously not much of a LeBron fan, which is fine, but your personal feelings about him seem to blind you to just how good he is, and just how good his season was.

This writer is just stupid and very bias. He mentions Lebron should not win mvp without ring, but wait how many rings does Durant have?

I completely disagree with EVERYTHING you have written.

Basketball is about more than pure offense, to Durant's credit his defence has improved, but it is still not MVP standard (yet?). However, he deservedly has three scoring titles. Michael, Bird and Magic all won MVPs while having superstar teammates. It seems that if you can shine even brighter next to someone like D.Wade and have the season LeBron has had, then it would only lend more weight to your MVP contention. Also, if you insist on arguing that Durant ought to win it because Lebron has Wade; Westbrook and Wade have virtually identical stats for the year.

Finally, I hope you were exaggerating when you said that "He can drop 101 points in a game, and it wouldn’t matter to me unless it was in the Finals", because an ignorant comment like that only highlights how little you understand about the game. Tell me what are your opinions on Charles Barkley, Steve Nash, Reggie Miller, Allen Iverson, Dominique Wilkins, Tracy McGrady, Patrick Ewing, Elgin Baylor, Karl Malone. None of them have won a title.

If you seriously believe that LeBron ought to never be mentioned in serious Basketball conversation because he doesn't have a title at the age of 27, makes you look like a petty Lebron-hater and someone who doesn't understand the game at all. If you hate LeBron that's fine, you're entitled to your opinion, as am I, but I think you ought to seriously evaluate your position as a sports writer because I don't think you understand the game at all.
