Lilly Pulitzer, the classic, preppy women’s clothing label, will open Wednesday, August 8 at the Towson Town Center.

The store, the first Lilly Pultizer retail location in the Maryland/Virginia area, will open at 10 a.m., according to assistant manager Meredith Pickering.

“There’s lots of tastes of Maryland all throughout,” Pickering said. “There are fun Maryland sayings and crab decorations all around the store.”

The store will also host a grand opening event from August 8-14. During this time, all shoppers will receive a special gift with their purchases, Pickering said.

“We did some research and found that there was a calling for it in this area,” Pickering said. “So far, people seem to be pretty excited about it.”
