Don’t stop supporting halfway through

16 September 2012 By Dan Oltman, Student No Comments

First off, congratulations to the Towson football team on a win in their nationally televised home opener against a tough conference foe. It was a thrilling game and it was great to see all the fans in the seats at the coin toss. What wasn’t great to see was how many left at halftime. I’m just wondering, what kind of clown leaves a close game like that at halftime, against a conference opponent no less? Props to all the fans that stayed and got to experience one hell of an exciting win.

To everyone who did leave early: next time why don’t you just stand at the top so I can sit in the student section, since I actually enjoy watching good football games. What were you in such a hurry for anyway? All the other good football games weren’t on until later.

You had plenty of time to get home and see Notre Dame dominate Michigan State and/or USC lose HAHA.

On a side note, you better drink up before coming to the game/tailgate next week, since the University officials seem to think this stupid new Homecoming tailgate policy is a good idea.

I’m sure they’ll be very pleased when people are completely sauced before even stepping foot into the parking lot. Get your flasks ready. But seriously, don’t let this lame tailgate policy keep you from coming out and supporting next week. It’s only for one game.
