Paul Short Invitational

Towson’s Cross Country team competed in the Paul Short Invitational, finishing 19th out of 39 teams. The Tigers finished with a total team time of 1:59:00.

In a different type of meet, the Tigers competed in a point’s race, with a much bigger field of teams.

Leading the team was sophomore Elizabeth Tauber. She finished with a time of 22:46, coming in 26th overall in the race out of 342 runners.

Senior Hannah McKenzie had a strong performance with a final time of 23:50. McKenzie has finished as one of the top runners for the Tigers in every race she has competed in this season.

Next up, the Tigers have the William & Mary Open in Williamsburg, Va. Oct. 13. The meet will take place at 11 a.m.
