Hazlett leaves position at TU
Former Director of Admissions for the University Brian Hazlett announced via Twitter over the winter minimester that he was leaving his position at Towson to take the same position at Millersville University.
On Jan. 16, Hazlett said via Twitter that he had two days remaining at Towson, and he was “looking forward to new opportunities at Millersville University as their new Director of Admissions.”
On his final day at the school, Hazlett praised Towson and the people he had worked with during his time at the University via social media, saying “Difficult leaving TU for Millersville University due to the people at TU. #topnotch” on Twitter.
Millersville, located in Millersville, Pa., has an undergraduate population of 7,644.
According to Marina Cooper, the deputy chief of staff for the President’s Office, Bob Giordani is currently the acting Director of Admissions following Hazlett departure.
Giordani is also the Registrar and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Hazlett could not be contacted for comment.
