Ravens fan spreads hope to his team

Matthew Jeffers has been a Ravens fan since the team’s creation in 1996 – even at the their low points. He wrote to the Ravens mid-December to encourage them during a rough period in their season – about two years ago, his mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and he told the team that if his mother could battle the disease, they could maintain a positive attitude.
