The Astrolog-holic: Healthy signs

When you’re living the college lifestyle, it’s easy to put your health problems aside to keep up with other demands. But it can be easy to prevent these problems in the first place if you know what parts of the body to focus on.

Aries (March 21- April 19) should pay attention to the areas of the head, face and neck. Arians are prone to headaches and neck strains. Keeping a routine sleep schedule, as well as the correct pillow-to-mattress ratio, can keep these problems at bay.

Taurus’s (April 20- May 20) focus areas are the ears, throat and mouth. They are especially susceptible to colds and sore throats. Worse health issues like laryngitis could also become a problem if untreated. The bull should make sure to get enough Vitamin C daily.

Gemini (May 21- June 20) should concentrate on the hands, arms, shoulders and lungs. Gemini is prone to anything from the pulling of a muscle to carpal tunnel syndrome. Bronchitis is also a common problem for Gemini, so they would do well to invest in a dependable scarf.

Cancers (June 21- July 22) have most of their problems in the stomach, digestive areas and the skin. They’re inclined to food-poisoning more so than other signs. The Crab would be smart to avoid overly greasy and unhealthy foods.

Leo (July 23- August 22) should pay attention to the heart, back and spine. Leos are often overexerting themselves, which can cause back problems throughout their lives. They should definitely keep up on their check-ups, because serious heart problems should be caught and dealt with early.

Virgo’s (August 23- Sept. 22) areas of focus include the abdomen, the intestines and the metabolic system. Virgos are prone to ulcers and cramps, and later in life are more susceptible to diabetes. They should drink lots of fluids to keep healthy.

Libras (Sept. 23- Oct. 22) should concentrate on the lower back and the kidneys. They’re likely to strain their lower spine and more likely to have kidney infections. Libra should take hot showers to help relieve any ache they might feel from overstress.

Scorpios (Oct. 23- Nov. 21) have problems in the blood, genital and nose areas. They’re liable to blood poisoning as well as bladder infections. They would be smart to stay away from too many spicy foods and to avoid smoking as well.

Sagittarius’s (Nov. 22- Dec. 21) focus areas are centered on the hips, thighs and liver. Sagittarius should be wary of dislocating a hip or pulling a muscle in legs. The Archer should take safety precautions before starting any dangerous adventures.

Capricorn (Dec. 22- Jan. 19) is most at risk around joint areas of the body, like the knees. They’re prone to orthopedic problems as well as issues with the teeth. They should make sure to get lots of calcium for stronger bones, especially to prevent problems like osteoporosis later in life.

Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 18) should pay attention to the shins, ankles and circulatory system. Aquarians are susceptible to ankle breaks and sprains as well as circulation problems, which can lower the immune system. Ginger and celery are two helpful foods that can be worked into their diets.

Pisces (Feb. 19- March 20) have most problems in the feet and lymphatic system. They are prone to bunions and corns, and may also suffer from other health concerns, such as Athlete’s foot. Pisceans should soak their feet in warm water to help relieve any pain.

I understand that you’re in big trouble if Scorpio is in Uranus. Ouch!
