It may seem as if Finals Week is years away, but a good college student knows how quickly it can sneak up on you. The beginning of the semester is the perfect time to get your study habits in line.

Aries dives into every subject with matchless vigor, but gets bored rather quickly, which can make studying difficult. The best way for Aries to study is to have someone tell them they can’t. As soon as someone tells the Arian that they can’t do it, the ram will do everything in their power to prove this naysayer otherwise.

Taurus is a late-night, caffeine induced mess when it comes to studying. The bull is good at finding excuses or other projects to immerse themself and avoid focusing. A Taurus can beat school-related stress by having a steady supply of snack food at the ready, especially delicious coffee.

Gemini is in a constant state of learning, which makes them natural-born intellectuals. They don’t love having to reread information, making studying near impossible. To get a Gemini to look at old material, it’s good to present the information in a new way or through a new medium.

Cancer is an organized mess when it comes to studying. The crab takes all the appropriate steps to prepare with notes and supplies. However, Cancer often finds itself struggling to focus. Cancers should schedule study time for themselves so nothing else can become a distraction.

Leo makes sure each semester is more memorable than the last. Whether it’s studying less or pulling multiple all-nighters, Leo will find some way to make studying as dramatic as possible. Leos would thrive in study groups, which would allow them the chance to show off their methods, or lack thereof and study simultaneously.

Virgos should never be bothered when studying. Although they may not always reveal their very in-depth study habits, there is no doubt they exist. Virgo can find themselves very stressed out when studying, so relaxation is good for this sign. Virgo has no problem studying for exams, but it would be helpful if they knew how to stop.

The Libra is in a state of balance, and studying must be the same. If this sign finds itself holed up for too long, it can be unhealthy for the Libra. It’s all about keeping both aspects of life in check and equal, and by doing so it creates a harmony that is sure to leave the Libra well read and well rested for class.

Scorpios are fantastic studiers, but only when the subject is interesting. If it isn’t, then you can expect the scorpion to avoid hitting the books at all costs. Naturally charming, Scorpio will appeal to the good nature of someone else to “help” them study. Scorpios should reward themselves every so often for focusing on a subject that they hate.

Sagittarius is notorious for never studying, if only because they’re still catching up on their other assignments. Studying doesn’t even exist in the archer’s vocabulary until finals week. It would be wise to plan ahead and not push everything until the last minute. Find some of that passion and focus at other points in the semester instead.

Capricorn is a force of dedication. For Capricorn, the destination is what matters, not the journey. So if the subject doesn’t seem to appeal to the Cap’s more focused ideals, then they might not put enough effort into caring. Relating subject matter to the real world is more likely going to get the goat focused on studying.

Aquarius is excellent at problem solving and anything that requires creativity. It’s the subjects that are more grounded, which require less out-of-the-box thinking that cause an Aquarius to struggle. To move past these obstacles, it’s important for them to find balance between creativity and structure.

Pisces is sometimes in the middle of the semester without a textbook in sight. They get lost in their own thoughts and the homework often sneaks up on them. As long as the fish can find something interesting to focus on in a subject, their strong mind will take care of the rest.
