What’s the Buzz: Babies, Miley & Liam, and Bieber

13 March 2013 By Emily Hite, Columnist No Comments

Celebrity babies

Several celebrities are carrying little bundle of miracles.

Sofia Vergara and her fiancé Nick Loeb have chosen a close friend for a surrogate pregnancy since the “Modern Family” actress’ filming and promotional schedule is full.

And former “Girls Next Door” star Holly Madison just gave birth to a daughter, Rainbow Aurora. The name was inspired by a girl from Madison’s childhood.

While en route from Paris to Los Angeles Kim Kardashian suffered from stomach pains that lead her to believe she was having a miscarriage. However, baby Kimye is healthy. Kim has been ordered to take it slow.

Jessica Simpson accidentally revealed that she is expecting a boy during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel saying, “The crazy thing is that I never knew that a wiener could actually make me nauseous. Oh, shucks! Well, I guess told the world that I’m having a boy!”

Kate Middleton might have accidentally slipped up and revealed that she is expecting a daughter. The Duchess of Cambridge said “I will take that for my d-” when receiving a teddy bear from an admirer.

Miley Cyris & Liam Hemsworth on the rocks

Miley Cyrus has taken a break from social media amidst rumors that her engagement to Liam Hemsworth has ended. The rumors say that Hemsworth had cheated on her with January Jones over Oscar weekend. Cyrus has only fueled the rumors since her online hiatus by not wearing her engagement ring two nights in a row, one of them being while partying with Hemsworth’s friend Paul Khoury. Meanwhile Hemsworth has been hanging out in Australia with his older brother Chris Hemsworth. Sources close to the couple have explained that trouble has been brewing between the couple ever since Cyrus drastically changed her image and their dueling career paths.

Justin Bieber’s worst month ever

When Justin Bieber tweeted that he was having the “worst birthday ever” on March 1, he really should’ve said “worst month ever.” Bieber has kicked off the first half of March by showing up two hours late to a London concert because he apparently was in a bad mood and wanted to play video games instead. Trouble followed again at another London show when Bieber collapsed on stage and had to be taken backstage for treatment before he could finish the show. Then just hours after he was released from the hospital, footage emerged of the pop star aggressively lashing out at paparazzi only to be forced back into his car by his team. To cap off his streak of misfortune, Bieber has cancelled his second show in Portugal because of unforeseen circumstances, but sources are speculating that a lack of ticket sales is the actual reason.
