Astrolo-holic: Pixar picks for your sign

4 December 2013 By Ashley Beall, Assistant Video Producer No Comments

Pixar movies are fun for all ages, even college students. Every zodiac sign has a Pixar movie that works best for them.

Aries is known for their bravery, so of course their Pixar movie would be “Brave.” The red-headed heroine Merida is a full-blown Aries, displaying their short temper, adventurous spirit and impulsive nature.

Taurus can sometimes get stuck in the same routine day after day, just like the titular character WALL-E. Taurus can sometimes be so stuck in their ways they seem robotic, but deep down inside they have a heart ready to love.

Gemini is a connoisseur of knowledge and education, and they love to show off their skills. Sometimes finding the right outlet can be hard, like it is for Remy the rat in “Ratatouille.”

Cancer loves their family more than any other sign, which can make it difficult when they’re separated. Marlin from “Finding Nemo” knows the pain all too well, and will search the whole ocean just to find his son again.

Leo is the hero of their own story, just like the characters in “The Incredibles.” Even as superheroes though, they put family first, just as every loyal Leo would.

Virgo has a connection to their childhood that other signs do not. This makes “Toy Story” their Pixar film. The toys may seem wooden, just as Virgos do, but on the inside there is much more life.

Libra does their best to balance work and play, but oftentimes it gets tangled. This happens to Sully and Mike in “Monsters Inc.,” proving that it can be very troublesome, yet sometimes very rewarding, when it happens.

Scorpio is most akin to the movie “Cars.” Like Lightning McQueen, Scorpios like their lives fast, sporty and a little bit sexy. It’s still a good idea to remind them to slow down once in awhile and enjoy all the little things in life.

Sagittarius can get very caught up in the party life, and forget their responsibilities at times. “Monsters University” best illustrates this, as any film about college-life would.

Capricorn is very down-to-earth, but that’s because they have very big dreams. Just as Ellie and Carl need to put their dreams aside for their life together, they never forget about their dreams of going “Up”.

Aquarius is an innovator, just like Flik from “A Bug’s Life.” They can be extremely ahead of their time, causing people to laugh at their ideas. But in the end, they can help make the world a better place.

Pisces is the oldest sign, and therefore the most ready to let go of the past. And no film encompasses that theme more than “Toy Story 3.” It’s all about growing up and letting go of childhood, just as Pisces have to learn to do.
