Diddy Kong>Donkey Kong
5/28/09 11:08 AM
Alright, to ensure some regularity on this blog, I’m going to start updating it on Thursdays and Mondays. I thought for a while about listing Monday first, but seeing as it is already Thursday, and nobody likes Mondays anyway (not to mention my normal column is published in the Thursday edition of Towerlight)…I listed it as Thursdays and Mondays…which you have already seen. This gives the four people who check this specific times to look, and also find of forces me to do it. Now, in the last post I mentioned a round-up review of both “Angels and Demons” and “Star Trek”. That will be postponed until Monday because of something more pressing. I just beat “Donkey Kong...Does Leno's New Show Tarnish the "Tonight Show"?

Ok, so I might end up using this blog bit more often than I thought. Tonight I began watching, as you all should, the final week of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and will be eagerly awaiting “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien”. Earlier this year I wrote a column about the late night shift…but now I actually pose a question. So if…anyone out there actually reads this blog, column…thing… feel free to comment. Do you feel like a new day has dawned on “The Tonight Show”, considering Leno’s move to 10pm? I ask this question because many commentators, such as myself, have said they don’t really feel like ‘the new era’ has begun. In fact, I get the feeling that...The Best LOST ROUND-UP BLOG EVER!!!!!

In both of my “Lost”-dedicated columns this year, I discussed Jacob. And as we all saw in the season finale, he came and went pretty quickly. Now I’m not going to lie to you, I was hoping for a little more with this ‘giant’ revelation of who Jacob is. But nevertheless, the episode open with Jacob sitting on the island next to who is now only known as “Jacob’s Rival”, who claims he wants to kill him, but is unable to. The two men watched as a classic ‘pirate’ ship sailed in the distance. I would think it’s logical to assume that the ship is The Black Rock. It’s also logical to assume, that The Black Rock crashed in the 1800s. So here is an extremely long talk about Lost. Subject by subject. Jacob...He's Bringin' 'Saturday' Back

Well folks, it’s my final column of the year. Of course,I was not informed Monday was the final issue...but I shall post it here anyway. It was my swan song of the year…and it’s sung by Justin Timberlake. Justin Timberlake can sing, I don’t deny it. However, I don’t think he can write very well, nor do I really enjoy his ‘music’. Even when the N’sync-Backstreet war was going on I sided with Backstreet (admit it, you know you had a side). But the one thing I can say about Justin is that he is funny. Very funny. And he constantly is proving this on Saturday Night Live. Last week he hosted for the third time, nowhere near a record, but between his other two shows, and his...The Top Ten Current Trailers

If you're like me, you enjoy a quality film trailer, and are constantly moving across the web trying to find out what quality films are headed our way. So here is my list of the top ten upcoming film trailers. Keeping in mind, of course, that this doesnt necessarily mean that these are my top ten upcoming movies...they just happen to have the best trailers. Some of these have more than one version, these are my favorite. to each his own. The titles are links, even if it doesnt look that way. 10.) Inglorious Bastards The trailer said it all: You Haven't Experienced war, until you've seen it through the eyes of Quentin Tarentino." 9.) Public Enemies Hurrah! A very stylish look at Johnny Depp's newest...
