Bang out the boots
9/30/09 5:50 PM
Ladies it is time to let go of the sandals and those dreadful flip-flops. Fall fashion is has arrived for the season. It is time to bring out your boots. I don’t mean those everyday Uggs or your sleazy Saturday night "come get me" boots either. I am talking about fly and flawless boots that tops off any outfit. Some of our Towson women already strut their stuff in fashionable boots. Dr. Nicole Dombrowski-Risser, Associate Professor for the department of history, was spotted walking to the Cook Library wearing a pair of brand named, brown leather, Michael Kors, rider boots. I am a huge fan of Micheal Kors party shoes and now an advocate for his boots. Dr. Dombrowski-Risser told me she caught the boots on sale at a Bergdorf Goodman in New...Rip the Runway

Je Suis La Mode, a fashion team sponsored by the Black Student Union, held their fall 2009 fashion show tryouts last night in the Susquehanna of the University Union. About 25 Towson tigers lined up outside the Susquehanna to face a panel of eight judges. Candidates needed to impress the judges with a fierce walk down the run way. All the women needed to have heels on and all the men…let’s just say they needed to turn their “swag” on. Although the technique varies between men and women each candidate gave it their all. I was given the opportunity to watch the tryouts and notice that each person who walked has their own style. Some were dancers who grace the runway with a sassy display of their multi-talents. Some were aspiring models who walked with...Put it all in the bag!

Every day at Towson I look around to see if there are any wardrobe must haves that catch my eye. While walking from one class with only 15 minutes before the next class starts I notice something all women must have. An enormous yet stylish bag, in which a woman can hold her entire life in, is a must have. In 15 minutes I notice every girl surrounding me was carrying something in one hand with a gigantic bag on her shoulder. Bags that are big and look good are usually the name brand or department store bags that are nowhere in a college girl's budget. A large chic bag from the department store in Towson will cost you anywhere from $125.00 to $200.00. So then you will buy the bag and not have any money to put in it. I crossed paths with one tiger...Matching is overrated

Students expressed their style with bold prints and patterns. My perspective on what looks great changed when I ran into Ava Ebaugh, junior in Psychology, who mixed different patterns together to make it her own
I met Ava at the Cook Libary Starbucks. As I walked in the door she was the first person I noticed. Ava combined a variety of colors and patterns that alone would seem plain but together it is awesome.
"Its been hard with the weather getting as cold as it has. I definitely need to go on a shopping spree. I have been throwing t all together pretty much", Ava Ebaugh said.
I love her style. Is fresh, free, and fashionable.
Tigers stay in style despite the weather

In the beginning of the school year Towson students are custom to warm weather for the first few weeks of school. Normally the summer fades into fall as the temperatures gradually drop and students have time to rearrange their closets. However; as the weather continues to fluctuate, students are a little confused on what clothes to pack away for the season. While walking to class I just happen to noticed that everyone was wearing different stuff. Some people had on rain coats and boots while others had on summer dresses and cardigans. Nonetheless, I noticed fashion is important around campus and no matter what the weather some students choose to get creative. Ebony Oakcrum, a junior studying Public Relations, unleashes her inner fashonista everyday. Ebony was spotted in a...
