So a few months back, Microsoft put out this new search engine called Bing with all this advertising fanfare. They call it a decision engine. Unfortunately for them, not many people have decided to use it. So I have a challenge. Google, Yahoo, anybody, you're free to use this idea. It's on the house. It's called Crosby. A new search engine that, when you search for something, gives you results you didn't even know you were really looking for. Then it beats your children for you. This week in Tyler Tech: Amazon backs off some of its more destructive DRM policies, while Sony thrusts them down the throats of PSP Go buyers. Also, a reminder to vote in the Mobbies....

After more than 70 columns, I'm starting to run out of topics to rant about. Sure, something might happen tomorrow or I may get struck with a lightning bolt of inspiration (it really does feel like a lightning bolt sometimes). Basically, I want to pick your brains. Post in the comments things that really grind your gears or that you don't understand. Because Tyler Tech is your column as much as it is mine. As much as going on and on about the latest Mac OSX update would be oh so exciting, I don't think you'd have as much fun as I would. Sony quietly replaced a line in their new PS3 ad which referenced Nigerian email scams. I wonder if one of Nigeria's near-infinite princes got a hold of them... anyway, here's the offending ad, since I'm a rebel and all. Enjoy.
