I bumped into Gus Sentementes downtown last Thursday. He snapped my photo on his iPhone and we chatted briefly before I had to run back over and do the grunt work for WBAL-AM's Rob Lang (link) at a Constellation Energy press conference.

Today, he blogged about it. The same day I got retweeted (link) by Brent "Lt. Data" Spiner as I chimed in with a god-awful pun. I suddenly had all these followers and no idea where they were coming from for a few minutes. The Internet is a funny place.

First, props to Gus Sentementes, the Sun writer who just launched the BaltTech blog. Good stuff. And bonus points for putting Tyler Tech on the blogroll. Tried the Xbox Live beta of "1 vs. 100" tonight. The idea of a live announcer and real prizes fascinated me greatly. Then I realized the announcer was only there once every ten minutes or so to quip about Canadian players and the prizes were, like the cake that popped up in one question, a lie. Since this was only a beta, the arcade games and Microsoft points people were winning do not exist. Instead, I was playing for sweepstakes entries. Microsoft, you've gone...
