Towson dropped its second consecutive game of the season Wednesday night to the No. 8 Virginia Cavaliers 7-1 in Charlottesville, Va. University President Maravene Loeschke announced in a press release Friday morning that she had approved of the recommendations to cut the sports of baseball and men’s soccer. This will be the last season for Towson baseball and the men’s soccer program has been discontinued effective immediately, according to the release.
