Towson competed in the NCAA Mid Atlantic Championship Friday, Nov. 9, tying for 23rd place in the event with 670 points. Thirty-one teams competed in the Women’s 6K Championship, with Penn State winning it all with 61 points. Towson took home a first place victory in the Towson Invitational. In a 5K race, the team had an overall time of 1:37:17.88, beating second place finisher Mount St. Mary’s time of 1:38:26.36. Despite only having three runners in the top 15, Towson finished second in the Baltimore Metro Cross Country Meet held at Oregon Ridge Park.
