Ohio State offense torches Towson 16-6

Towson suffered a 16-6 loss to No. 3 Ohio State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio. It was Towson’s 11th tournament appearance in school history and first since 2007. Tigers prepare to feast on Buckeyes

When Towson takes the field in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday afternoon, it will be the first time since 2007 that it will be playing in an NCAA Tournament game. Towson defeated Penn State 11-10 Friday afternoon to win its first Colonial Athletic Association title since 2005. The Tigers (10-7) travelled to University Park, Pa., with revenge on their minds, after it lost to the Nittany Lions (12-4) 10-8 on April 1. Towson advanced to the Colonial Athletic Association Championship game with an 11-8 win over conference foe Drexel on Wednesday night in University Park, Pa. Tigers clip Hawks in final home game

Towson cruised to a 13-6 victory over Saint Joseph’s in its final regular season game at Johnny Unitas Stadium Saturday night. Drexel hands Towson second straight loss

Towson suffered its second straight loss Saturday as No. 17 Drexel won a 14-11 game at Vidas Field in Philadelphia, Pa. Both recent losses by the Tigers (7-7, 3-2 CAA) have occurred on the road. Tigers disarm Minutemen with 9-5 win

Towson recorded its fourth consecutive win Saturday with a 9-5 victory over conference foe Massachusetts. The Tigers remain undefeated in conference play.
