Towson rolls over Northeastern

When Towson took on Northeastern Sunday afternoon, it was a game of redemption. Tigers win 12th straight

Towson has continued to power through the season, earning its 11th and 12th straight games, beating Colonial Athletic Association foes George Mason 3-1 Friday and James Madison 3-2 Sunday. Towson defeats Georgia State in three sets

After an intense weekend with games against Colonial Athletic Association rival-Delaware and a five-set match against Pennsylvania last week, Towson took its foot off the gas for a less aggressive 3-0 win over Georgia State Friday night. Tigers pluck Blue Hens in CAA opener

Riding the momentum from a big second set, Towson (14-3, 1-0 Colonial Athletic Association) was able to defeat Delaware (3-11, 0-1 CAA) in a 3-0 sweep. Explorers can’t find win vs. Tigers

After an unusually slow start to the match, Towson (12-3) came back to defeat the La Salle Explorers (3-12) 3-1 Tuesday night. The Tigers lost the first set 25-18, but started the second with an 11-point streak that carried them to a 25-12 set win. Tigers win 49er

Over the weekend, Towson (11-3) won the 49er Invitational, hosted by Charlotte University, making it the third of four tournaments that the Tigers have won this season. Towson defeated UNC-Asheville (4-12) and Kennesaw State (10-4) 3-0, and Charlotte (8-4) 3-1 to capture the title. Tigers named tournament champions

Towson was named the Montana Tournament Champions this weekend after they went 2-1, beating Texas Tech and Furman and losing to Montana. Towson went 1-2 this past weekend at the Hokie Classic. The Tigers (5-2) lost to Virginia Tech (4-2) 3-0 and Middle Tennessee (3-4) 3-1 and beat Harvard (0-3) 3-0. Towson (5-0) was able to hold off Loyola (2-2) in a back-and-forth game Tuesday to win 3-0, defeating the Greyhounds 25-20 in the first and second sets and 25-18 in the third set.
