Blue Devils' last-minute drive tops Towson

It was a familiar scene: Fans, all dressed in yellow, crowded the stands for Towson football. However, it wasn’t the Football Championship Subdivision championship game and the opponent wasn’t the North Dakota State Bison. This time it was the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils, a team that finished 4-8 last season. The Towson community now has a new and safer way to cross Osler Drive when traveling between West Village and the main campus. Hosts of members from the Towson community including students, faculty, alumni and politicians gathered in front of Enrollment Services Friday to witness the ribbon cutting of the new pedestrian bridge over Osler Drive. The long-awaited bridge provides the community safe access from West Village to the academic core of campus. It is estimated that 3,500 students will cross the bridge every day during the academic year. A comedy is written to make the audience laugh, a drama to entertain and hold them in suspense.
