The Towson Tigers will continue to fight on in 2010 but to a new tune. Director of the Tiger Marching Band John Miliauskas has begun work toward a new University fight song, starting with an open call for a new melody this fall. "We are gearing the contest toward music people and alumni of the music department," Miliauskas said. (more)
Midway through the summer, University administrators are already calling the pilot trimester program a success. The state-funded pilot that allows Towson to offer 10-week courses through the summer in addition to traditional 5-week and 7-week courses is an effort to attract more students to earn credits during non-peak times of the year.
