Anyone who's ventured to our nation's capital from Baltimore can probably tell you that morning traffic is a miserable experience. Unless you happen to be in love with your job, like Patrick Letts Jr. Letts, a Nottingham resident and a 2006 alumnus from Towson University, works for four-time Major League Soccer Cup champions, the DC United.

The bus, sponsored by the Student Honors Advisory Committee will leave the University Union Loading Docks at 9:30 a.m. At the Renaissance Festival, food, drinks, Shakespeare and jousting can be enjoyed.

Before the football can be kicked off at Johnny Unitas Stadium Saturday night, it will be run 58 miles from the University of Delaware to Towson, in the arms of student-athletes from both schools. The relay, which was also held last year when the Tigers took on the Blue Hens, serves as a charity for Special Olympics Maryland and Special Olympics Delaware.

Sororities welcome new pledges, new experiences at Bid Day on Burdick

With the air at a crisp 67 degrees and the first fall leaves on the ground, members of Towson's Panhellenic Association sororities and their new pledges took to Burdick Field Sunday for the "Running of the Bulls," otherwise known as Bid Day. Gathered under bright balloon arches, and wearing their Greek letters, the members of Alpha Gamma Delta, Kappa Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Phi Mu, Phi Sigma Sigma, Alpha Xi Delta and Zeta Tau Alpha cheered, danced and waited in expectation of receiving their new sisters.
