Coming off their first home loss of the season, a 13-10 decision to George Mason, the Tigers (10-4, 4-1) rebounded in their home finale, defeating James Madison (5-8, 1-3), 12-7, on senior day at Johnny Unitas Stadium.
As the final seconds ticked away, senior midfielder Brian Vetter fired a shot that could have been the tying score. But as it sailed wide right, the Tigers fell short in the 10-9 loss to the 10th ranked Drexel Dragons at Johnny Unitas Stadium.

With the regular season coming to an end and the Colonial Athletic Association tournament less than a month away, Towson (25-18, 8-3) picked up a crucial three-game sweep this weekend over Delaware (18-17, 3-9).
Two Tigers battled through stiff competition at the NCAA regional meet this weekend and finished with a few favorable results. Annukka Almenoksa finished 10th on the balance beam with a 9.825 mark. The junior beat out over thirty competitors for Towson's highest placing in an individual event for the day.
