Miami Dolphins, you have the first selection. You are now on the clock. So, without further ado, here's my 2008 Mock Draft:

Dolphins: OT Jake Long - Michigan: Miami has many holes, so they may as well make a safe pick at #1. Long is the best tackle in a draft stockpiled with great ones.

Rams: DE/OLB Vernon Gholston - Ohio State: It may be a reach for Gholston to go this soon, but he is a perfect 3-4 hybrid player in the Shawne Merriman mold.

Falcons: DT Glenn Dorsey - LSU: Atlanta will be tempted to take Matt Ryan here, but they really need a run-stopping nose tackle to shore up the defensive line, and Dorsey fits that slot.

Raiders: RB Darren McFadden - Arkansas: The Raiders have a crowded backfield with Justin Fargas, Dominique Rhodes, LaMont Jordan and Michael Bush, but McFadden is way too good to pass up.

Chiefs: OT Ryan Clady - Boise State: Like the Falcons, the Chiefs have greater needs than Matt Ryan. Clady should make an instant impact on an aging offensive line.

Jets: DE/OLB Chris Long - Virginia: Doesn't have a natural position, but that could be a good thing for the Jets. Long is athletic and versatile enough to play any position in the defensive front seven.

Patriots: CB Leodis McKelvin - Troy State: With Asante Samuel and Randall Gay gone, cornerback is the one weakness on a team with few. McKelvin is a great talent at cornerback and gives instant pep to the return game.

Ravens: QB Matt Ryan - Boston College: The Ravens will get a gift with Ryan falling into their lap. With Steve McNair retiring and only Troy Smith and Kyle Boller as backups, this pick is an absolute necessity.

Bengals: DT Sedrick Ellis - USC: With Chris Henry recently released and Chad Johnson likely on his way out of town, don't be surprised if the Bengals take a wide receiver here. Ellis could jumpstart a really bad front seven, though.

Saints: CB Mike Jenkins - South Florida: Mike McKenzie will be 32 at season's start and the Saints swung and missed with Jason David, so Jenkins could be a nice addition to the secondary.
