After performing the National Anthem at the Orioles' game, Towson's a cappella group Purrrfect Pitch will be hosting its bi-annual concert in the University Union Potomac Lounge on Friday, April 25 at 8 p.m.
"It showcases our songs [that] we practiced," junior environmental studies major and co-music director Danny Ciborowski said. "We actually have a full concert this time."
Purrrfect Pitch has increased the songs in their repertoire to 12, including "Kiss The Girl" from "The Little Mermaid," "Somebody to Love" by Queen and "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell.
Ciborowski attributed the increased song count to the group's dedication.
"We're an actual group now," he said. "The people in the group are committed."
While membership has decreased, Ciborowski said 16 members remain.
"It's a college pasttime that a lot of other colleges have and I'm glad we're finally able to bring it to Towson," he said.
Admission to the show is free.
