As the cameras started rolling at Johns Hopkins University Monday, students gathered on the Wyman quad, laughing, taking pictures and struggling to catch a glimpse of celebrities.
The Towson Tigers were eliminated from CAA playoff contention Wednesday following their 1-0 loss to the Hofstra Pride at the Towson Center Soccer Complex. Headliner takes stage after two-hour stoppage due to lightning
Tigerfest was put on hold Saturday when students were rejected from Burdick Field to seek cover from an impending thunderstorm at about 7 p.m., just minutes before the headliner was about to take the stage.
After a two-hour delay, The All American Rejects finally put on their show, the culmination of a full day of events.

Loyola College left shaken after Parente murder/suicide
After four days of investigation there are still loose ends to be tied.
The motive is unclear, though there is certainty that the Parente family tragedy has left students and community members shaken.
Baltimore County Police confirmed Wednesday morning that William Parente, 59, murdered his wife and daughters, one a Loyola College sophomore and the other an 11-year-old, before taking his own life at the Sheraton Baltimore-North hotel, less than a mile away from Towson University on Dulaney Valley Road.
